Victorian c. 1900 Rose Gold Cigar Band Wedding Ring. Alternating panels of Leaf and Scroll design. Very light etched initials D C (not sure if it's a D). there is a mark inside "XXX with a sideways W". Info I found on Cigar Band Style (Circa 1850–1870): A distinctly American style, patterned after paper cigar bands of the era (perhaps triggered by the poverty of Civil War-time). The characteristics of these pseudo paper bands are: (1) the surface is flat, not domed; (2) the band is fairly wide and is uniform in width (no tapering); and (3) there are engravings into the band. Common patterns are geometric, as in the Eastlake style. Excellent condition. Approx. size 8.

Art Nouveau (late 1890's to early 1900's). Hard to find Three Legged Casket (Trinket Box) signed B&W 27. Much of the gold wash has worn off. There are highlights of it left, especially on the raised design. There is a noveau floral design which the pictures will show. Purple velvet lining in great condition and I'm not sure it is original to the box. The box measures 5-1/4" x 4" across the top (length and width). It is 4-1/2" high (including the raised floral design on the top back of the box). Very good condition. Brass look to the base but I believe it is lead of some sort. It's a heavy metal. There is also chipping of the gold laywer around the inside lid and base. This is typical of the wear I see on these boxes.

Victorian Goldfilled Lions head Watch Fob. I don't know much about this piece. I don't believe the Lion's head is goldfilled but is goldwashed - based on appearance. I could be wrong. The Chain part is goldfilled or rolled gold. There are brilliants in the eyes and mouth. Extremely nice detail to the face. The head measures 1" x 1-1/4" and the entire piece is 3-1/4" long. Very good condition.

Early 1900's 12kt Emerald Ring. There are two milk white beads on either side...my guess is these are not original to the ring. The prongs have been pushed into the sides of these beads to hold them in place. Were they once faux pearls? I do not know. The setting is hallmarked JFCO and I couldn't find anything on this maker. The ring is a size 7. The center stone is an emerald color nad has the claw prongs but I do not know if it is a real emerald. This comes in the original box from T.S. Biggs Jeweler Terre Haute Ind. The ring is in good condition.

Victorian 14kt Gold Ring with Two Rubies and Two Diamonds. I'm not sure if the diamonds are real or just brilliants, but if the ring is 14kt and the rubies are real... I'm not a gemologist so I can't guarantee. This ring has been sized or repaired - I see solder on the inside shank. This ring is c 1890-1900 and is not perfect. The under side of the ring is slightly bent but this ring is perfectly wearable. The area that is bent is on the underside... you can't see it when you wear it. Extremely beautiful detail to the ring. I believe the raised top is white gold. There is a scroll design on each side of the ring. Size 7. Very good condition.

Victorian Acorn Glass Charms & Brass Bracelet. This is WEIRD and it's also HEAVY. Weighs 3.1 oz! There are two acorns with fancy silvertone tops that have bezel edges that are attached to clear glass in the shape of a nut. More like a walnut but the tops imply acorn. The link bracelet has huge links that are textured and it measures slightly under 8" long and 3/4" wide. The acorns are 1" x 7/8". This is an item you won't see in the books. I'm clueless about this one!

Rare Art Nouveau Fylfot Child's Adjustable Bracelet. The use of 'fylfot' in heraldry is a Victorian affectation. There is only one pre-Victorian use of this word, in which it appears to mean exactly what it sounds like -- a motif that fills the foot of a decorated area. This is a gorgeous little bracelet with an Art Nouveau motif and a "Fylfot" symbol in the center. This is not a Swastika - The Nazis inverted both its direction. I believe the bracelet is rolled gold and it measures 2" in diameter and can be pulled open to about 3" in diameter. This is a child's - not an adult bracelet and should fit a 4" to 6" wrist. Rare find in excellent condition.

Victorian Jet Mourning Bead Necklace. These were sold to me as real Jet; not glass. The small beads are irregular in size and shape and cool to the touch, yet the larger beads are like wood. They are very lightweight. Jet is more likely than glass to display tiny cracks and scratches, or to be irregularly faceted, and to feel lighter and warmer to the touch. But this is true primarily of British and lignite jet; anthracite beads will often feel both heavy and cold. The beads start at about 4mm and then the larger ones are 8mm and 13mm. The strand measures 56" long. They are hand knotted and have a painted black closing hook. Excellent condition.

Late 1800's Painted Porcelain Pendant with Openworked setting and bezel set half pearls. Her face is beautiful! I took this piece to the antique roadshow with me but the appraiser was more interested in another piece I had. The setting on this is brass and silver. The silver is filigree. The bezel around the porcelain and back is brass. At the top and bottom of the porcelain is a half pearl set in. Measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/4". The porcelain painting is in very good condition. Originally there was gold wash over the brass on the back. NO chain. Nice hard to find piece.

Victorian Rolled Gold Plate Hollow Beads Strung on Chain. These date to the late 1890's early 1900's. What puzzles me is that there are two types of gold beads on this strand. There are 6 beads on each end near the strand that are heavier in weight than the rest and the color is more yellow gold. They are strung on a twisted chain. The clasp is awesome and I'm not sure if it's molded glass or coral set in. Push in clasp. The beads measure about 7mm. Some of the beads have dents and dings and two seem to have a split in them which is typical since these are over 100 years old and hollow and fragile beads. Still very much wearable and the flaws are not noticeable when worn. Measures 15-1/4" long. Good condition. Rare find!

The beads are not all perfectly round and there are polished glass spacers in between. You will enjoy the feel of these beads! Excellent condition other than what I've noted.
