| I find it hard to believe that Vendome was established as a subsidiary of Coro...however Vendome was the SUPERIOR line of jewelry as you will see as you become familiar with their jewelry. The mark was used as early as 1944 on charm bracelets and faux pearl jewelry, but the Vendome line which began in the 1950's did not become popular until the early 1960's, largely due to beautiful designs introduced by Helen Marion, Vendome's principal designer. Basically, Vendome replaced Corocraft which up to that time marked the higher quality jewelry made by Coro. Vendome jewelry used the best of imported rhinestones and as you can see below in the black set, FACETED CRYSTAL BEADS. The clarity and brilliance of the stones and top quality metalwork combined in artistically expressive designs were the main factors behind Vendome's success. The jewelry is highly collectible (per Fred Rezazadeh of Costume Jewelry, A Practical handbook), and should continue to RISE in prices. Vendome Goldtone parure consisting of choker, bracelet and pierced post earrings. This is a simply classic set... with a nice weight to it! There are double holed links that are connected. The hang tag is still on the choker and it ends off with a safety catch. Measures 18". The Bracelet also has it's original hang tag and measures 7-1/4". The pierced posts measures 1/2" x 5/16". Beautiful set in excellent condition.

Vendome Double Strand AB Crystal Bracelet. Various shapes and sizes of crystals; Bicone, Margarita, Tear shaped and faceted Rounds. This is a striking and sparkling piece! Measures 7-1/2" long with a Silvertone fold over clasp. Excellent condition. Nice match for ES341 and NS560. They were purchased together but I wasn't sure if they were an actual parure.

Vendome Margarita Aurora Borealis Crystal & Faux Pearl Clip Back / Screw Back Earrings. These match with NS559. There are 5 AB Margarita crystals (which look like crystal flowers) surrounding a faux white pearl. The earrings measure 1" in diameter and are in excellent condition.

Vendome Margarita and Tear shaped Aurora Borealis Crystal Clip Back / Screw Back Dangle Earrings. These match NS560 very nicely. These earrings are stunning with a huge tear shaped AB faceted crystal at the bottom and 3 Margarita crystals above it and one faceted round at the top hanging from a Silvertone chain. On the Silvertone finding is a Margarita prong set. These chandelier earrings hang down 2". Excellent sparkling condition.

Vintage Vendome Rhinestone Tipped Aurora Borealis Crystal Clipback/Screw Earrings. c 1970s. Beautiful AB Crystals in various shapes & sizes with prong clear rhinestone head pins. In between and at the base are twisted goldfilled beads. Goldtone setting. These measure 1" x 7/8" and are in very good condition.

Vendome Aurora Borealis Double Strand Crystal Choker. Graduated in size, there are tear shaped crystals with bicones in between each. The double strand is graduated in length as well; the top strand is shorter than the bottom. Measures adjustable to 15-1/2" choker length. Silver tone findings with a rectangular crystal rhinestone set into the hook clasp. Excellent condition. A brilliant sparkling choker!

NS560 HOLD
Vintage Vendome Briolette and Margarita Aurora Borealis cluster Crystals & Pearl Necklace. Each faux Pearl has a goldtone filigree cap on each end. In between each Pearl are clusters of gorgeous crystals which throw off a myriad of colors. The necklace measures a little over 18". Finding are goldtone. Excellent condition.

Vendome Crystal and Faux Pearl Pin. This pin has spectacular glitter! 6 rows of crystal discs set on their sides with white faux pearls in between. The setting is silver tone. The pin measures 2" in diameter and is about 3/4" high. Excellent condition.
