Since 1839, J.E. Caldwell Company has brought the finest in luxury goods to Philadelphians. As guild jewelers, this staple of the Walnut Street shopping community offers diamonds, handworked gold, gifts, stationery, bridal registry, repair service, and Philadelphia memorabilia. This is a reverse carved lucite paperweight in the original box. My best guess is 1950's. The carving is a hummingbird getting nectar from a flower. There is a fence inside this that makes it look 3D. Very beautiful piece and would make a unique gift. 8 sides. 3-1/4" x 2-1/4" x 7/8" deep. Never used in original box.

Early 1960's Pink Pearlized Thermoplastic Bracelet and Earrings. Set in shiny goldtone setting. The safety chain has been removed but can be easy added if you choose. There are two rows of pink oval pearlized cabs measuring 7/8" wide. The bracelet measures 7-1/8" long. the earrings each have two rows of the same cabs and are clip backs. These measures 1-1/4" x 1". Like new condition.

Vintage 1960s Plastic Floral Necklace and Pierced Earrings. The necklace has three green plastic leaves in between clusters of circles of flowers that have a blue plastic bell cap on each end. There are marbled blue round beads on each side of the three green leaves. This so very pretty... and the earrings are pierced posts which just one circle of flowers. The necklace measures 49" long. The earrings hang down 1". Excellent condition.

1950's Reverse Carved Lucite Golden Roses Pin and Screwback Earring Set. Nice! The roses are more gold than yellow so don't let the picture fool you. The leaves are green as are stems. The pin measures 1-3/4" in diameter and about 1/4" thick. The earrings have silvertone screwback findings and measures 3/4" in diameter. The set is in good condition - silverwash worn off on pin arm and catch with tiny bend to pin arm. Had to tell ya!

Clear Molded Lucite Necklace and Earring set with black and white affixed cameo. This is a sweet set...softly faceted lucite with a raised center in the shape of a diamond with one layer of HOT pink and then white over it and on top of that is a black and white plastic came. The pendant measures 1" and hangs from a 24" chain. The earrings are smaller and measures 1/2" and are screwbacks. Excellent condition. c 1950s.

Vintage 40s Reverse Carved Violet Lucite Sterling Choker. You are sure to love this one! One large clear Lucite piece with a larger violet and 4 small leaves is attached to the center of the sterling chain. On each side of this large piece are two smaller ones. There is a sterling filigree clasp. The larger Lucite piece measures 1-1/16" in diameter and the two smaller ones measures 5/8" in diameter. The chain measures 16-1/2". Excellent condition.

Chain looks new so I'm not sure if this originally went with this piece. The goldtone is much more yellow than the picture detects. Excellent condition.

Vintage 1950's Lucite "D" Initial Pin. This is a rare find. It's not reverse carved. I'm not sure how they applied the D but it's perfect. The top is black plastic and there is a brass connector attaching the two pieces. The piece is in excellent condition. Measures 2" x 2".

1950's Reverse Carved Pink and Blue Flower Reverse Carved Lucite Pin. Large Pink flower with an orange and yellow center surrounded by green leaves and little blue forget-me-nots. Measures 2-1/8" x 1-1/2". Normal wear for a 50 year old pin in very good condition. It's one of the prettiest I've seen of the reverse carvings.

1950's Reverse Carved Pink Carnation Lucite Pin. A pretty shade of pink with white on the ruffled edges on the flower and green leaves. The piece measures 1-3/8" x 1-1/8" x 1/4" thick. The surface has a strange pattern to it... it's hard to explain. I'm not sure if this was in the process when it was made. It's not detectable unless you look at it on an angle. It's just not smooth as most of these pins are. These are not scratches. It doesn't take away from the piece, but I thought I'd mention it. Excellent condition.

1950's RARE Reverse Carved Lucite of Victorian Lady In Crinoline Pin. This is one of the prettiest reverse carved pins I've come across! Her dress is layers of pink and she holds a parasol. There are yellow flowers to her left and blue and white to her right. So very pretty. Not your typical roses. This is European in origin. Measures 1-5/8" in diameter. Unusual C Safety Clasp. Excellent condition.

These were a common setting/style; the circle of round rhinestones set into a stamped brass based setting with a silver finish; clipbacks. I believe these to be late 1930's to early 40's, though the style was popular for quite awhile and took on many forms. Many manufacturers designed earrings like these; all with the circle of rhinetones surrounding anything from pearl cabs to black glass, as did Coro (with a Script). This particular pair is in good condition, and the rhinestones are holding up well. The center cab is a red cherry color plastic. The silver finish is wearing off the back and the brass is showing, but I consider it normal wear, given the age and popularity of these earrings.

Precious and few these are becoming...carved bakelite earrings. This pair is a brown color carved in a feathery leaf design. The screwbacks are a silver metal. c. 1930's. Very good condition. Measures 1/2" in diameter.

these but they are a soft green button about 1" in diameter. They seem
to have a pattern either cut out or maybe these are molded. I'm not
sure. I do know however, that they are similiar to ones I've seen listed
to be from the 1950's. These are pierced posts and in excellent condition.
The part that is cut out is white.
