Symbol of Love Rose Pin by CERRITO. Women wore Red and White Rose Pins years ago on Mother's Day in honor of their Mothers. A Red Rose if your Mother was Alive, and a White Rose if she had passed on. This is a dimensional pin done in the shape of a luscious, deep red rose in bloom (velvety finish), with goldtone leaves and curved stem. It measures about 1 3/4" long x 1 1/4" wide, x 5/8" in depth. Cerrito Jewelry Limited Inc. 1977. Excellent condition.

This lovely vintage Lenox Porcelain pin is set in a gold-tone bezel that has both a pin and a loop so that it can be worn as a necklace. The porcelain disk is decorated with flowers and leaves. The pin is signed with the gold Lenox wreath mark and is made in U.S.A. Measures 1-1/8" x 7/8". Very good condition.

Vintage Scrimshaw Floral Pin/Pendant. I'm assuming bone not Ivory; I do not know. A lovely floral dyed design on the oval piece. The setting is goldtone and has a chain pattern. The oval piece has been glued into the setting. The pin measures 1-1/2" x 1-1/4". Very good condition. I'd say excellent if not for the glue showing on the back of the pin.

Newer Chinese Enameled Pin with black background and shades of blue, pink, yellow and green enamel work. This enameling technique is similar to another piece I have that is vintage - this one is newer. The back shows tiny holes...which is part of the enameling process. This is a gorgeous piece in new condition - never worn. Silvertone base. Measures 1-1/2" x 1". The colors are stunning!

Copper Enamel & Foil Floral Pin. I've spent a lot of time trying to find out about this pin because I've never seen enamel work like this before. There are tiny wires forming the flower with tinted enamels with foil under it. This is exquisite! I found nothing like it anywhere. It looks to be handmade - the safety catch has been glued on. The underside of the pin is black enameling. I kept thinking it was Japanese in origin but I was told by someone who has a piece like this that it is a Chinese enameling technique. Measures 1-5/8" in diameter. Excellent condition. This pin came from an estate sale with pieces from the 50's to the present.
