1940's Reindeer Set. The Chatelaine Pins are made of a heavy metal with a reddish gold finish. Red rhinestone eyes in each as well as clear rhinestones along the ears and on only one collar of one reindeer. Connected by a double chain that measures approx. 5"...left RS collared reindeer measures 1-3/4" in diameter. The one on the right measures 1-1/4" x 1-3/4". Excellent condition. The matching earrings are screwbacks measuring 3/4" in diameter. Hard to find set... fun for the collector!

11 W 30th St Vintage 1960's Rhinestone Christmas Ball Pin. DODDS [11 w 30th St]. Not many know about this company and those who do are most likely serious vintage/antique Costume jewelry Collectors. Even so, some jewelers and collectors are astonished to know that "11 W 30 ST INC" and Dodds (Doddz) are one and the same manufacturer. In 1952, William Dodds and Company was a popular and successful plastics industry located in Newark, NJ. In response to the U.S. jewelry boom, Dodds decided to take full advantage of the opportunity and open a subsidiary with a partner. It was called "Jewel Creations." Only early Dodds pieces are recognized to have the "Jewel Creations" Headquarter's location signature (11 W 30 ST INC) stamped on the backs of the jewelry castings. William Dodds took over as the sole owner of the company in the 1960's, and used "Dodds" as the signature on all the later pieces. My mother made Jewel Creations pieces. The settings were sold and you picked your rhinestones and set them in yourself. This is a goldtone Christmas Ball... set with fuscia and light blue rhinestones. This measures 2" x 1" and is in excellent condition. Marked 11 W 30th St on the back. Rare find.

Stunning Jeweled Crown Clip Back Earrings. The red cabs are foil back plastic. I don't believe these are all that old. They are a mimic of better quality crown jewelry from the 1940's. Vintage Scottie Dog Mother and Pups Pin. Three little puppies are following behind their Mom on this adorable old pin. Seems to be silver over brass, but I've not tested it. Measures 2-1/2" x 5/8" and is in very good condition. The brass showing through is darker in this picture than it actually is. The finish is a silver wash and only slight brass is showing through. The pin arm has bends in it from being worn. Safety catch.
