Marvella is the trademark initially used by Weinrich Bros. Co. founded about 1911 in Philadelphia. The Post WWII Marvella jewelry consists primarily of simulated pearls, and plain and faceted bead jewelry. In the mid 1950s, the earrings sold for $10.00, single strand necklaces for about $15.00 and multi-strand necklaces for $20 to $30. Marvella also offered simulated pearl jewelry set with quality goldtone findings and settings.
Marvella was purchased by Trifari in 1982 which itself became
a subsidiary of Crystal Brands Jewelry Group in 1988. Marvella used
many different trademarks, most of which include the company name
or Marvell in a longer name such as Marvellesque, Marvellette and
Marvellier. |

Vintage Marvella Lucite Daisy Pin NWT. This is from the 1960s and still has the Marvella tag. There is a goldtone setting (open in the back) and the clear Lucite circle has an embedded yellow daisy in the center. measures 1-5/8" in diameter and is 1/4" thick. Excellent condition - never worn.

Vintage Marvella Satin Pearl and Mother Of Pearl Double Strand Necklace. This is very beautifully made. There are faux satin pearls with brass spacers on each end and free form mother of pearl beads. The clasp has a large MOP in the center surrounded by the faux pearls and spacers. The strand is in excellent condition and the longest of the two strands measures 24". The faux pearls are 8mm.

Vintage Marvella 6mm Faux Pearls measuring 24". The clasp is a pearl with a push in connector and the original hang tag is still on this. Good condition. Could use a cleaning because there is a couple areas of the thread that is different in color than the rest of the strand.

Vintage Marvella Single Strand Graduated Simulated Pearls. Filigree Silver Clasp. Measures 18" in length. These came in a Pattison Jewelry, E. Liverpool, Ohio jewelry box. The pearls measure 18" and the largest center Pearl is 6mm. Excellent condition. c 1940
