Harry Iskin, Philadelphia Pa. Succeeded by Iskin Manufacturing Company between 1931 and 1943. Manufacturers of Masonic charms, society emblems, class pins, trophies, medals in white gold and platinum mountings. Often the Hallmark is mistaken for International Harvester, but when you see a Harry Iskin logo, you'll know who it is. Harry Iskin produced jewelry mostly during the 1940's stylized retro period and his jewelry has become very collectible and harder to find. Harry Iskin jewelry can be seen in the book "Forties and Fifties Popular Jewelry" by Roseann Ettinger. Most of these pieces below are from my private collection.

1940's Harry Iskin Stylized Retro Fuscia Stone 10kt gf Bracelet. This is a stunning piece and is so Retro in design! Five multi-faceted fuscia colored stones are prong set in a fan like design with curls of gold on one side of each stone. The stones are not foiled but set in a slightly open back riveted setting. The inside of the curls seems to be a rose colored gold, while the outside is yellow gold. The bracelet measures 7-1/2" x 5/8". Very good condition. A hard to find piece! SEE CLOSEUP HERE

Harry Iskin 1940's Deco Style 12ktgf Aquamarine Colored Stone Link Bracelet. The flowers are dimensional. The bottom flower petals are open and yellow gold and the petals around the aquamarine colored stones are rose gold. Iskin liked to incorporate two colors of gold into his designs. The stone are prong set. I have no way of knowing if these stones are aquamarines or blue topaz or what...but they are mufti-faceted and show off sparkling brilliance. The round circle links in between is what gives the bracelet that deco look - each circle has three grooves in them. The bracelet measures 7-1/4" x 5/8" and it's in excellent condition. Harry Iskin 12kg GF Marcasite Flower Basket Pin. This pin has extreme detail - the setting on the bottom has a very fine basket weave pattern and the Marcasites are ever so tiny - 1.15mm. The pin measures 1-1/4" x 3/4". Excellent condition. c 1940s. SEE VIEW OF BACK

1940's Harry Iskin Red Rhinestone Pin. This has a hook on it like those that are on Watch Pins. However, I believe this may have been part of a twin set... a chatelaine - where there was a chain with an O ring that slid on the watch pin type hook and also connected to a smaller pin in the same style. I could be wrong. This has a flower in red rhinestones with a clear rhinestone center. Two clear rhinestones are off to the side. Very retro. 12kt gf. Excellent condition. Measures 1-7/8' x 2'. This is one of Harry's earlier pieces and it has his hallmark and the letters G.F. which means it is goldfilled. Usually he marked his jewelry with 1/20 12kgf, but not this piece. Of all his jewelry...this piece seems more solid in construction and is holding up beautiful, keeping it's finish. This circle pin has a golden bow attached by a rivet and on the bow is a lovely handset Faux Emerald stone set in a lovely scalloped cup. This pin is a nice compliment to the bracelet above. this pin measures 1-1/4" in diameter. Excellent condition.
