DCE is the hallmark of Curtis Jewelry Mfg. Co which was founded in Providence, RI around 1950. They manufactured gold plated and sterling silver jewelry. Much of the Curtis jewelry seen on the market right now dates back to the 1950's or perhaps early 1960's. The pieces are both in Sterling silver and Vermeil, usually of small and delicate size, with traditional designs. As of the late 1990's they were still in business. |
