ART trademark was used in business from the late 1940's to the late 1960s. They offered a broad range of designs that can be likened to Florenza and Hollycraft and often resembles the Victorian and Renaissance Revival jewelry. Their pieces are of quality and combine fine filigree or stamped metalwork with colored rhinestones. |

Art 1960's Amber Aurora Borealis Finished Rhinestone Choker. The rhinestone graduate in size; smallest at the neckline working toward the center three which are the largest (about 11mm). Goldtone setting. The chain is what shows the wear, which is normal for a piece of this age. (I should look so good!) Anyhow... it's a stunning, sparkling choker with no damage to the rhinestones. The SPARKLE! The setting with the rhinestones is in excellent condition. The gold finish on the chain has worn. Measures adjustable to 16" and is 1/2" wide.

Vintage 1960's Art Enameled Brooch and Earrings. I've had various pieces of Art with these colors and I just love them! They sure do catch your eye! The colors are neon shades of yellow orange and green. The piece is openworked goldtone with yellow enamel around the edges. There are neon bright orange flowers with a dot of green in the center of each. The pin measures 2-1/4" in diameter. The earrings are clipbacks that measure 1-1/2". Flaws: two tiny dots of green enamel have worn off two of the flowers and not a big deal. Where the pin is riveted to the pin finding, there seems to be a covering of epoxy, possibly to cover the rivet or to keep it from moving back and forth. The set is in very good wearable condition.

1970's Art Amber Glass Stone Earrings with Eagle Necklace. The earrings are signed and the set was purchased together, but the necklace is not signed. The necklace is a big moving goldtone eagle with a belly set with a large, faceted, amber glass, tear shaped stone. Off white and amber beads dangle from the bottom. Eagle measures 4-1/2" top to bottom x 3-1/4". The chain measures about 20". The o rings that connect the bottom piece show wear - probably from swinging back and forth, otherwise, very good condition. The clip back earrings measure 2-1/8" x 1". Very good condition.

ART Goldtone Enamel, Rhinestone & Pearl Pin and Earring Set. The pin has a layered look to it... with the bottom of leaves in blue and green enamel with the top layer of leaves in beaded goldtone with others in set in rhinestones. The pin measures 2" in diameter. The matching earrings are clip backs measuring 1-1/4" long x 3/4" wide. Excellent condition.

A funky-but-fabulous set from a classic 1960's design house that rarely went far from the sedate! The broach and dangle earrings feature cheerful yellow enameling with vibrant greens, orange, blues and red on goldtone base metal. The broach measures approx. 2-3/4"W x 2"H and is stamped "ARTŠ" on the back. The earrings feature intricately detailed yellow flowers with bright red centers holding a single dangling flower. Interestingly enough, the enameling on the earrings even extends down the clips so the goldtone metal underneath doesn't interfere with the design. The earrings measure approx. 1-7/8"L, and are stamped on backs.

"ART" Victorian style Garnet Colored Stones and Faux Seed Pearl Openworked Pin. One of the nicest pins made by Art that I've seen! The garnets look like real Bohemian Garnets and are set like the real thing with dog tooth prongs. There are lovely little seed pearls set in around the outer and inner part of the pin. The setting is an antiqued goldtone. Measures 1-3/4" in diameter. Excellent condition.
