Mr. Larry Kasoff, formerly with Florenza wrote:
"Our company, FLORENZA [Dan Kasoff Inc.] like our competitor ART [Mode-Art] sold our merchandise through wholesalers only and CAPRI was one of them. Capri did not manufacture and was a separate entity. Both of our companies made confined lines for Capri and other wholesalers. I know this because my father and the owner of Mode-Art, Arthur Pepper, were friendly competitors. I met Mr. Pepper at shows where all of the New York Manufacturers displayed their lines twice yearly at a New York Hotel. In fact, his son had tried to work for us."
